Rivers
The Jamuna and Brahmaputra rivers, one of the largest rivers in Bangladesh, are closely associated with the people of Dewanganj. From on side
the erosion of the river Jamuna has devastated the people of the area, but on the other side the resources extracted from these rivers are playing
a huge positive role in economic activities. As the Brahmaputra river flows through the middle of the upazila, it has left its mark on people
happiness, sorrow and joy. Rivers have enhanced the natural beauty and its resources are improving the quality of life of the people.
